The Covington 10 Inch Cork and Felt Glass Polisher is a high-quality and efficient tool designed for cold-working glass to a high polish. With its large 10-inch diameter wheels, this machine can handle larger pieces with ease.

The machine features two 10-inch diameter polishing wheels, one 2” wide cork wheel and one 2” wide felt wheel. The cork wheel, combined with a mildly abrasive polish, is ideal for pre-polishing, smoothing rough edges and removing scratches. The felt wheel, combined with cerium oxide, is designed for final polishing and achieving a mirror-like finish. Both are factory tested for balance. Both wheels turn at 420 rpm to minimize polish powder loss, while a rim speed of 1,230 SFM creates the friction necessary for a brilliant finish.

The machine also includes a water valve and spray nozzle to keep the wheels lubricated and cool. The water valve takes 1/4″ OD plastic tubing for gravity water flow or 1/4″ copper tubing for pressure systems.

The Covington 10 Inch Cork and Felt Glass Polisher is built to last, with a heavy-duty cast aluminum housing and a turned, ground and polished 1 inch shaft. The arbor can be quickly disassembled (4 bolts) for changing the pulley or a bearing inspection.
